Montgomery County, Ohio will cut 30 jobs due to lower tax revenues. Half of the cuts came from the Sheriff’s Department last month. The Montgomery County, Ohio Sheriff’s Department is laying off 15 employees, including deputies. Montgomery County will cut its 2009 budget by 2.5%, necessitating the cuts, which take affect June 1st.
