ADP: US Lost 473,000 Jobs in June

ADP Employer Services says US private sector employers cut 473,000 jobs in June, more than the 395,000 previously forecast. 3M is laying off 40 workers from its engineering division. Most of those affected work at the firm’s Maplewood, Minnesota headquarters. 3M is also closing a hearing- and eye-protection products plant in Southbridge, Massachusetts, cutting 200 employees.
