BlueLock LLC said it plans to create 118 new jobs by 2014 through the expansion of its headquarters in Indianapolis.

BlueLock provides cloud computing solutions and managed information technology services, according to its Web site. The company, which was founded in 2006, currently has 30 workers in Indianapolis. It plans to begin hiring in engineering, operations, development and client services.

“As cloud computing continues to gain market acceptance, we see a real opportunity to build upon our three-plus years of experience in the space, which is a lifetime in cloud years, and offer our clients best-in-class service and solutions,” said John Qualls, president and CEO.

BlueLock plans to invest more than $35 million for improvements and upgrades in its 20,000-square-foot facility in Indianapolis.

3rd quarter profits for the company dropped 81%. Revenue also fell by 11.6 percent, driven down in part by the stronger dollar.

NCR Corporation, originally known as National Cash Register, was founded in 1884. It is a global corporation that manufactures ATM Machines, bar code scanners, point of sale systems and other similar products. NCR employs over 22,000 people.

In September the museum’s director, Timothy Rub, will leave to run the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The Cleveland Museum of Art is an art museum in the University Circle neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. It has a permanent collection of more than 43,000 works of art. In June 2008, the museum reopened 19 of its permanent galleries located in the museum’s historic 1916 building, upon completion of a significant building renovation that had closed the galleries since 2005. In June 2009, the newly constructed East Wing, which houses elements of the Impressionist, Contemporary, and Modern art collections, reopened to the public.

The city of San Antonio is giving ACS a $300,000 economic development grant.

Founded in 1988, ACS Affiliated Computer Services is a Fortune 500 company that provides information technology services as well as business process outsourcing solutions to businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. It was ranked at number 423 on the 2008 Fortune 500 list. ACS operates in nearly 100 countries, generating over $6 billion annually and employing 74,000 people.

The firm cut 130 jobs last year.

RealNetworks is a provider of Internet media delivery software and services based in Seattle, Washington. The company is best known for the creation of RealAudio, a compressed audio format; RealVideo, a compressed video format; and RealPlayer, a media player. The company is also known for its subscription-based online entertainment services like Rhapsody, SuperPass, and RealArcade; and for its media properties like Film.com and RollingStone.com.

The firm operates a technology service center in Cross Lanes, an unincorporated census-designated place suburb of Charleston in Kanawha County. As of the 2007 estimate, Cross Lanes’ population was 13,119.

Philadelphia’s CDI IT Solutions, a division of CDI Corp., provides information technology consulting, project outsourcing and staffing. The majority of its clients receive service support from the Cross Lanes center.

Those who lose their jobs will be given severance and outplacement support.

NCR’s headquarters move will bring 1,250 jobs to Duluth. The company is also opening a factory in Columbus, which will employ 870 Georgians.

NCR Corporation is a technology company specializing in products for the retail and financial sectors. Its main products are point-of-sale terminals, automatic teller machines, check processing systems, barcode scanners, and business consumables. They also are one of the largest providers of IT maintenance support services. The company was founded in 1884.

The firm saw a 19% drop in revenue in Q2 2009.

Hillsboro, Oregon’s Lattice Semiconductor is the number four ranked company in world market share of high-performance programmable logic devices.

Lattice was incorporated in Oregon in 1983, and reincorporated in Delaware in 1985. The company is headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, in the high-tech area known as the Silicon Forest.

The company has about 1,335 employees.

Founded in 1994, Digital River is an e-commerce outsourcing company whose clientele is largely software publishers. The company is the leading provider of software delivery over the Internet. Its largest client is Symantec. Other clients include Microsoft, AOL, eBay, Electronic Arts, Toshiba, Computer Associates, Circuit City, and Sun Microsystems.

The Somerset facility currently employs 250.

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority is offering Presidium up to $4,185,000 in tax incentives.

Founded in 2003, Presidium is a provider of IT and student service desk solutions to higher education institutions.
