Job Cuts Coming at Indiana State University

Indiana is cutting its budget for higher education by $150 million due to a shortfall in state tax revenues. As a result, the president of Indiana State University says that anywhere from 80 to 100 non teaching jobs will have to be cut to shave $5 million off of the school’s operating costs. [...]

University Of Louisiana Facing Layoffs; Cuts Totaling $21.2 Million

The University Of Louisiana has announced cuts totaling $21.2 million to alleviate the state’s budget gap. Included in the cuts will be terminating 42 currently filled positions and extinguishing 81 additional positions.
