The firm has 4,800 senior executives, and expects to let go at least 336.

Revenue for the quarter should hit $5.2 billion, down from $6.6 billion a year ago.

Hamilton, Bermuda-based Accenture Limited is a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. It is registered in Bermuda, but the firm is moving its incorporation to Ireland. Accenture is a Fortune Global 500 company with more than 186,000 employees in 52 countries.

Marvell, which manufactures semiconductor components for the iPhone and BlackBerry, has seen a drop-off in demand.

The job cuts will come from all areas of the company. The firm has imposed company-wide salary freezes, cut some salaries, suspended bonuses and consolidated facilities.

Marvell posted a loss in its fiscal Q4 of $65 million, versus a profit of $1.3 million a year ago.

The company is incorporated in Bermuda but has headquarters in Santa Clara, California.
