Ford Motor Company plans to invest $450 million to consolidate its electric car program in south east Michigan, bringing in approximately 1000 new jobs. GM Shuts Down Saab Brand

GM has been trying to unload the Saab brand but after the latest talks with Dutch automaker Spyker Cars failed to produce a deal, the company has decided to shut down production of the Swedish line of cars.
