In Houston, Texas Innovative Consultants LLC cut 287 jobs this month after losing a substantial contract. Most of the lay offs affected hourly employees. The company hopes to have the lost contract reinstated or replace it with other work.
Innovative Consultants is a Newark, Delaware based company. It provides contact center services for multiple industries through inbound and outbound telephone lines and the internet including financial services, insurance, telecommunications, technology, healthcare and media. The company was founded in 2003 and counts among its clients Bank of America, First Premier Bank, AIG, American Life Insurance of New York, M&I Bank, Swift Financial Corp, Discover and Tara Energy.
