Sierra Nevada Corp is expanding its operation in the Denver suburb of Centennial and bringing in 200 new jobs. The announcement today was made by Colorado Governor Bill Ritter. Under a new law signed by Ritter, companies that create 20 or more new jobs in urban areas qualify for state tax cuts based on the payroll taxes owed on the new employees. To qualify, the jobs must pay wages above the market average.
