Departmen of Labor Report Projects Job Growth in Two Sectors

labor departmentAccording to a report issued by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the two sectors that will experience the broadest job growth over the next decade are professional and business services and health care. More than half of all new jobs over the next ten years are expected to come in the service industry. The report says the long term trend away from manufacturing and into services will continue, with declines in goods production jobs being offset by modest growth in construction.
