Structured Solutions Inc., a technology company based in California, is planning to expand into Nebraska bringing with it 200 new jobs over the next three years. The company makes software for banks and financial companies.
The expansion will be financed in part by a $600,000 loan from the city of Grand Island. If the company creates and maintains 200 jobs through December 2015, the loan will be forgiven. The deal is structured over time with the company having to meet certain job targets over the six year period. To qualify for loan forgiveness, the jobs must pay an average of $17.50 per hour.
