Materials Innovation Technologies, a North Carolina company that develops advanced textile products for use in the automotive, aeronautics and defense industries is setting up shop in South Carolina. The new facility will be built in Florence county and is expected to bring in 120 new jobs. The company plans to hire for the new positions in February of next year.
