Chalk another one up to the One North Carolina Fund. Talecris Biotherapeutics, with the help of a $250,000 grant from the state, is expanding its facility in the research triangle and bringing in 259 jobs. The jobs will be filled over a seven year period and the company is eligible for up to $4 million in additional incentives if it meets certain goals over the next 12 years.
Talecris employs 4700 people worldwide and within North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park region is a top ten employer.
