New Round of Layoffs at Adobe Systems

adobe_160x120Adobe Systems, maker of popular software packages such as Acrobat, Dreamweaver, and Flash, announced today that it is planning another round of layoffs. Employees from the recently acquired Omniture will not be affected. The expected total is 680 jobs, but no details have been provided yet as to where or when the layoffs will occur. 680 jobs represents about 9% of Adobe’s global workforce.
