It’s beginning to feel like a trend, and this is the kind of trend that we like to talk about. Job losses slowed across the nation in October, with several states adding jobs. The two states with the highest jobless rates, Michigan and Nevada, both showed a decline. Michigan’s jobless rate fell (that’s the good news) from 15.3 to 15.1 percent (that’s the bad news. Nevada had a .3% drop, from 13.3 to 13%. Altogether, 28 states showed job growth in October with Texas leading the way, adding 41.700 jobs.
