Amway is cutting 93 jobs in North America and reconsolidating its finance department. The reconsolidation will take place at its operations center in Costa Rica, where some new jobs will be created as a result. Most of the job cuts will be at its headquarters in Ada, Michigan.
The company is hoping to reduce the number of layoffs that result from job cuts through early retirment and transfers to other positions within the company.
