Volkswagen’s new plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee is opening soon and the company is hiring 1200 people. Applications can be filed online at VWJobsChattanooga.com starting Monday, October 26th. Starting pay will be $14.50 per hour plus benefits.
The new plant will have the capacity to produce 150,000 cars per year, but can easily be expanded to produce nearly twice that number. Company officials estimate that a total of 9000 jobs will be created by the plant when it reaches max capacity.
