The Guardianannounced that its online job site was hacked, compromising the data of 500,000 users. Hackers were able to get personal identification information along with cover letters and CV’s, but no financial or banking information was stolen. The US jobs site was not affected. The case has been turned over to the cyber crimes unit of the metro police.
