Buoyed by incentives from the One North Carolina Fund, financial tech company Fiserv is opening a customer care center in Hickory, North Carolina. The state is providing $800,000 in incentives and the company will invest $4.9 million over the next three years. The company expects to employ 300 people by late next year and then expand to over 400 jobs some time thereafter. The jobs will pay an average of $25,368 per year, plus benefits.
