Ameritox is opening a new lab in Greensboro next year, bringing in 228 jobs. No date has been set yet for the lab’s opening. The company chose Greensboro because it offered “a diverse and talented work force, an abundance of top-tier educational institutions, and is well situated to help our company continue to grow”, according to a press release issued by Ameritox.
Ameritox is a Baltimore based company that specializes in the monitoring of medication usage. It provides lab services and other tools to help clinicians monitor the usage of pain medication prescribed to patients.
