Dallas, Texas-based Affiliated Computer Services will expand its Port San Antonio facility, hiring an other 300 workers to join the existing 530 employees.
The city of San Antonio is giving ACS a $300,000 economic development grant.
Founded in 1988, ACS Affiliated Computer Services is a Fortune 500 company that provides information technology services as well as business process outsourcing solutions to businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. It was ranked at number 423 on the 2008 Fortune 500 list. ACS operates in nearly 100 countries, generating over $6 billion annually and employing 74,000 people.
