meridianautomotive_160x120Meridian Automotive Systems is shutting down its Shelbyville, Indiana factory, and putting 295 people on the street.

The firm had previously announced layoffs of 200 this Summer. Meridian recently lost a major client.

Allen Park, Michigan’s Meridian Automotive Systems makes various parts for several auto companies, including General Motors.
