Featured, Job Loss

ComairErlanger, Kentucky’s Comair, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, is shuttering a maintenance base at Orlando International Airport in Florida in September. Eighty-one jobs will be lost.

Some employees may be bumped to other positions within Comair.

Comair is one of the world’s largest regional airlines and, with over $1 billion in annual revenue, would be considered a major airline carrier except for the fact that its aircraft seat less than 100 people. It flies to 70 cities in the US and Canada.
