GSD&M Idea CityAnother Southern US ad agency is laying off workers.

Austin, Texas’ GSD&M Idea City has cut 10 jobs, and imposed across-the-board temporary pay cuts.

Mark Taylor, the agency’s executive creative director, has also left the firm. The agency has about 500 employees.

GSD&M Idea City is an advertising agency founded in 1971 by graduates of University of Texas at Austin. Since 1998, GSD&M has been part of the Omnicom Group. It has offices in Austin, Chicago and New York City.
