Cable sports channel ESPN is laying off 100 employees at its Bristol, Connecticut headquarters.
ESPN Chief Executive George Bodenheimer announced layoffs in January. A spokesperson says that new hires should keep the workforce level.
ESPN, a subsidiary of Walt Disney, employs about 5,400 people worldwide, including about 3,400 at the Bristol campus.
