The company will lay off 70 employees at its facility in Lakeland, Florida. The layoff is effective May 2nd.

Pasadena, California’s Jacobs is one of the world’s largest providers of professional technical services. With more than 55,000 employees in 160 offices in 20 countries, Jacobs supports industrial, commercial and government clients. The company reported over $11 billion in revenues in 2008.
