Insurer Aetna plans to add 245 jobs in New Albany, Ohio.
Hiring at the facility is expected to begin in July for customer service positions, including care management nurses and project managers.
The number three US health insurer said in December it would cut 1,000 jobs by the end of 2008.
The Hartford, Connecticut-based company employed 35,000 at the end of last year.
