Albuquerque Job Fair Attracts 4,000

New MexicoLocal TV station KOAT partnered with the city of Albuquerque this last weekend to hold the KOAT Project Economy Employment Solutions Job Fair.

More than 4,000 people showed up at the Albuquerque Convention Center to apply for jobs and attend seminars.

More than 50 employers were looking to fill hundreds of jobs in New Mexico.

City leaders said the job fair was its answer to a struggling economy.

In addition to job openings, KOAT offered seminars with advice on how to land a job, manage money and improve resumes. Thousands of job seekers attended the five seminars put on at the job fair. Job seekers who miss any of them can watch them in their entirety at koat.com.
