Dozens of jobs and nearly $2 million in revenue are coming to Rome, New York.
The Air Force Research Laboratory in Oneida County will receive nearly $900,000 in funding from President Obama’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The money will go toward renovations to improve the overall facility. More than $1 million has also been set aside for the Rome Veterans Clinic.
Part of the money will be spent modernizing the Outpatient Clinic, and part will be used to replace and upgrade air handling units.
