Meridian Automotive Closing Indiana Plant, 300 Laid Off Meridian Automotive Systems is shutting down its Shelbyville, Indiana factory, and putting 295 people on the street. The firm had previously announced layoffs of 200 this Summer. Meridian recently lost a major client.
